Baby Spencer was born today at 9:41 am. He's 7 lbs 15 oz, and 20.75" long. Riannon and Spencer are both doing great.
Nate is such a proud Daddy!
Here are our two birthday boys! It's Dad's 61st birthday today, and now he gets to share his special day w/ Spencer. So neat!!!
Aunt Jill pointed out that Spencer is the first grandchild that will be carrying on the Johnson name, b/c Lexie's boys will carry on Jon's name. What a cool 3 generation picture.
For Dad's birthday dinner he chose to go to Texas Roadhouse. We got there and had just eaten our salads when he got a call that Riannon had some blood clots and was going to have to go in for emergency surgery. Mom & Dad hurried and left to go to the hospital. Luckily, it was a false alarm and Riannon did NOT have blood clots! WHEW! We were all super scared there for a while.
After Nate came by, had some dinner, and picked up Olivia we played the most HILARIOUS game! Uncle Keith & Aunt Jana brought this game called "Watch Yo Mouth." Basically each person gets their own plastic dental c-shaped intraoral cheek lip retractor that you stick into your cheeks. Then you pick a phrase out of a box and you have to say what's on the paper.
It's so hard to do w/ this thing in your mouth. It's nearly impossible to pronounce words with the letters "b" or "p" in them. Y'all, we were laughing so hard we had tears streaming down our cheeks.
What a FUN way to end the birthday celebrations for this INCREDIBLE man!!! What a SPECIAL day!!!
