Family History Bug

Tonight for YW, we had Bro. Walker come and talk to the Laurel's class about how to find a name to take to the temple through FamilySearch.org. Our Stake is in the middle of a 40 day challenge to do just that, so I figured this would be a great chance for them to actually have the time to do it since they're so busy with everything else going on in their lives. Well, only 2 of the 6 showed up, and those 2 didn't even pretend to be involved. They went off to the kitchen with the Mia Maids class to make smoothies. UGH!

But, the night wasn't a total bust, b/c I was able to find a bunch of connections on Autumn's American Indian side of her family. I'm finally starting to feel a little spark of the spirit of Elijah & "turning the hearts of the children to the fathers & the fathers to the children."

Also, I think my life may have possibly changed forever tonight thanks to one little word ... Dink! Only the future will tell ... ;) ♥
