Today we had sales training, so we got to order in lunch. I LOVE sales training days, b/c then I get this super yummy salad w/ jalapeno ranch dressing. YUM!
Trying to get gas today was CRAZY! On the news they mentioned that there MIGHT be a gas shortage due to Hurricane Harvey in Houston. People freaked out & rushed all the gas stations. Luckily I told Frank to hurry & go get gas so he only had to wait in line for 20 minutes instead of 2 hours like some people. On my way home today, there was a line all the way out into the street to get gas at one place I passed. I'm thankful I have 3/4 of tank so I didn't have to worry about it.
It was really eye opening to see what would happen if there really was a gas shortage & how dependent we are on our vehicles.
Susan & the missionaries came over tonight for a discussion. We're missing Elder S, but Elder B has stepped up to the plate in his absence & it's impressive to see how much his English has improved since we first met him. We LOVE having Susan & the missionaries in our home & the special Spirit that they bring w/ them.
