Cheer, Hair, & Mary's Passing

Autumn & I had to get up early (which was super hard for her b/c she was SO TIRED) to get to her game. It was in a nearby city, and was an early game. The girls stunt's looked SO AWESOME!

They did such a good job even though it was windy & overcast & they got sprinkled on a few different times.

I love this one of them all lined up watching the other team perform their halftime routine. There were only 5 cheerleaders on the other team & our girls really outshined them.

 Way to go, Lady Lions!

Coach is having 2 girls be the team co-captains each game, so they were huddling here as a group to decide what they wanted to perform for the boys at the end of the game.

Cool shot if I do say so myself.

Ultimately we lost the game, but our cheerleaders were AWESOME today & our boys played really hard. It was fun to be up close to the action on the field sidelines instead of up in the stands where it seems so far away.

Spencer got to go paintballing for the first time ever for Jackson's (far right in the green sitting down) birthday party. He said he had a blast & really enjoyed it even though he got 4 big welts from getting hit.

After lunch, Autumn & I went over to my friend's house to have our hair cut. I had to get a "before" picture, and my hair is way bigger & puffier than usual from being outside in the wind at Autumn's game.

Autumn only got 1/2 an inch taken off just to get rid some of the dead ends & even it out. She LOVED being pampered & having her hair brushed.

I also got some highlights put in. Frank was so funny & kept trying to offer his opinion w/out really offering his opinion. LOL. He would say, "so, are you going to get it shorter?" So, are you going to get more blonde highlights?" He cracks me up.

While I was getting my hair done, Hanah had to leave for a minute to go take something to her daughter. Frank texted to ask if I could talk. I called him back & he let me know that he had just found out that his oldest sister had passed away this morning!!! She was 60 & had dealt w/ diabetes & other health issues for a long time. So, it wasn't a surprise, but it also wasn't expected b/c she hadn't gotten worse or anything like that lately. I hurried home to talk to him & say goodbye before he left for OK to be w/ his parents. I felt so horrible for him & wish I could have gone w/ him. He was really upset that Mary & I hadn't gotten to meet before she passed.

Liz & Liberty texted to see if they could stop by tonight just to say hi. It was so great to have them over & help lift our spirits. They are such incredible friends.
