The boys went & picked Autumn up from school for me. I ADORE pics like this, b/c it's of people that are my world, and that I LOVE so much.
I hurried home, changed clothes, and then Frank & I went over to Bill's house to do a service project. They had mulch that they wanted us to spread out in their front yard.
These are some of the people (and they brought along their kids) in our self reliance class. As one of our assignments, we were supposed to do a service project together. Bill hasn't been able to come to class for several weeks b/c he hurt his back. So helping him & his family by putting out mulch was a great project for us. We were done in about 6 minutes, b/c they didn't buy enough. So, we also raked & bagged up all the leaves in their yard and did some other minor yard work they needed to have done. It was so great to serve together!
I haven't really had any major cravings during my pregnancy so far, but I guess doing some hard manual labor made me hungry. But, after we had all taken showers, done scriptures, prayer, and everyone was getting ready for bed, I got a hankerin'. And you know how the saying goes, "you can't deny a hankerin'." I wanted Chinese food so bad, but all the regular Chinese restaurants & even Panda Express were already closed. So, we did a late night date run to Jack In The Box & I got their teriyaki bowl & eggroll. It was so good & really hit the spot. I love that we're so spontaneous & have fun just doing simple things like this together.
