Papa & Mimi called to say they were going over to a pumpkin patch w/ Nick & Nate's families and asked if we wanted to join them. That sounded like fun, so we loaded up and met them over there. We tried to get a picture of Papa & Mimi w/ the grandkids, but this is the best we could get. We took A LOT of pictures, and they all look like this! LOL!
Mimi has on her sunglasses, Roaslind isn't looking, Olivia REFUSED to open her eyes, Spencer & Autumn are squinting, Alisa looks drugged (she's not), Spencer would only look at his pumpkin, Papa was blinking, and Matthew wanted to get away.
Our family picture turned out a little bit better, but not much. It was cloudy but bright, and we were all squinting.
Bitters looked SO CUTE in her little Halloween shirt. It was a little bit cold, so Frank kept her zipped up in his jacket.
The older kids had more fun sliding down this concrete slab than they did picking pumpkins.
We went back to Papa & Mimi's house to carve our pumpkin purchases, and have pumpkin pie for dessert.
Matthew ended up looking like a jack o lantern too!
Here are our final creations. I a NOT a fan of carving pumpkins (messy, too much work, they get moldy after a few days, etc) so I was happy watching & taking pics & just being together creating memories.
We saw this hot air balloon really close on the drive home.
Liz & Liberty invited us to come over and carve pumpkins w/ them, so that was a lot of fun to spend time w/ them. Again, I just watched and took pics.
My HOTTIE HUSBAND tying on one of Bitter's bows. LOL!
