National Night Out

Since Frank ground up the tree stump yesterday, he went and got some sod today. It was surprisingly & luckily cheap. Hopefully, it will take well and blend right in by next year.

Alisa put her bottle inside this fireman's boot and was drinking it that way. She cracks me up!

I was trying to work, and she kept escaping from the living room so I finally let her come sit by me. She played w/ these markers and would put them in the box and then put them back in the holder.

Tonight was National Night Out, so we went to our neighborhood BBQ. I don't like giving her messy foods, but I caved tonight and let her have some puffy Cheetos.

Frank came over a little later and we got some Bahama Bucks and stopped by the police motorcycle for a picture. I'm so thankful for all the men & women who protect us and keep us safe (especially Nate). Being a police member is no easy task, and I learned that when I did a few ride alongs w/ Nate. They never know what type of situation they're walking into and have to make life-changing decisions in split seconds.
