I heard Alisa wake up from her nap, and I was immediately hit by the smell of poop when I walked into her room. That's nothing new, but this scene I saw was definitely something new! She had taken off her zip-up onesie (never done that before), taken off her diaper (never done that before), and smeared poop on the bed & crib (never done that before). It could have been way worse than this (it wasn't in her hair or on her face), but it was still no fun to clean up. I grabbed her and threw her in the tub and then Frank took care of her while I washed the sheets and the crib.
I don't know why, but for some reason, Frank decided to bring down the Christmas decorations. He was excited to show Alisa these laser lights that move. We turned off all the lights and she was LOVING it. She kept saying, "oh wow! Cool!"
He decided to make her a dress from this Diet Dr. Pepper box. She was NOT a fan of it at first, but then warmed up to wearing it for a few minutes.
No, she's not spoiled rotten at all ... getting a ride around the kitchen in her laundry basket chariot. I LOVE this picture b/c of the look of pure joy on her face. Not to mention Frank's adoring look at her while unknowingly showing off his guns.
This is a new & unconventional way to use the baby stroller. She turned it over, sat on it, and played with the wheels.
Autumn helped Frank put the garland & lights on the stairs so Alisa could ooh and aah over them.
Autumn even decorated the hibiscus plant w/ ornaments. We had to bring the plants inside b/c it's too cold for them outside (low 40's & high 30's). We were joking that this year we'll have a hibiscus tree instead of a traditional Christmas tree.
Autumn had taken a shower and she came and put her towel on Alisa's head. We were laughing b/c it looks like a swirl ice cream cone.
