Cleaning The Church & Fun At The Fair

Autumn & I got up early this morning to help go clean the church. We were dumb and signed up to clean the restrooms. Usually any men that are there clean the boy's bathroom and we clean the girl's bathroom. But everyone just did their jobs they signed up for and left. Autumn & I had to check all the toilet paper, soap, and paper towels in 7 bathrooms. Then we had to clean all the toilets, urinals, sinks, & mirrors in those 7 bathrooms. Then we had to sweep all of them and mop all of them. We were there a good 30 minutes after everyone else had left. My nails weren't very glove friendly as you can see. We didn't mind helping to clean and are so thankful we have such a nice church building to meet at.

We went to Walmart to get a few things and happened to find these cookies in the middle of an aisle at the bottom. I didn't have high hopes for these since they're the generic brand. But they were SO GOOD! We were pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely get some more. Plus, they were only $1.50ish.

Autumn & I were looking for a store earlier today & instead found a cute fair going on. So, after lunch & naps we came back to check it out. There were a bunch of different groups that were performing (school choirs, dance groups, etc.). We happened to be there for a Nutcracker ballet number. It was so pretty!

We walked around and checked out the different vendors that had wares for sale. Then we found a food truck that was selling Green gyros & garlic parmesan fries. We had to try them. They were way overpriced but were good.

Love these sweet girls, and we had fun being together.

We found this fountain and Bitters wanted to walk around the top and touch the water. Autumn was so cute to help her.

We had planned on leaving but once we let Bitters out of the stroller at the fountain she wanted to walk. So, we put her butterfly backpack/leash on her. She had to stop at every single planter box and smell the flowers, but we didn't mind.

We went back over to the stage area and there was another dance group performing. For one of their songs, they invited all the kids to come up and dance w/ them. I wasn't sure what Alisa would do, but she went right up there and took center stage and was shaking her groove thang. I have the CUTEST videos of her dancing. She is definitely NOT shy! At one point the dancers held hands w/ all the kids and danced in a circle. Alisa wasn't having that and just stood in the middle of the circle and did her own thing.

We came home and rested for a while and then Mimi called and said to come over and have some tacos. Alisa climbed right up into Papa's lap to read some books.

Then she climbed into Mimi's lap to read another book and also put lotion on Mimi's arms. Mimi had Autumn & Alisa go in the playroom so we could have an adult conversation about our living situation. Now that they've sold their big house & are going on another mission next year they wanted to know what to do with the house we're renting from them. We can do a rent-to-own type of thing or find a smaller house that wouldn't be so expensive. Frank & I will have to go over our budget and figure it out.
