Making Butterhorn Rolls With Mimi

It was nice to sleep in this morning. When we finally got up and moving we got ready for the day & went over to Papa & Mimi's. Alisa loves to watch Baby Shark or Wheels On The Bus on anyone's phone that will let her. Today it was Papa.

Autumn got to help Mimi make FIVE batches of her delicious butterhorn rolls to take to our Thanksgiving feast tomorrow. They are that popular that she has to make 5 batches!

Papa kept Alisa entertained while I checked work emails. She was more interested in playing w/ the box than she was in playing w/ all the toy figurines on the table.

I hope Autumn realizes how lucky she is to live so close to Papa & Mimi, and to be taught by the master baker herself. I know these will be pictures that Autumn will treasure when she's older.

Autumn took the stuffing boxes and put them on like shoes. You think Alisa likes to imitate her and soaks up everything Autumn does like a little sponge?

Alisa & I came home so she could take a nap and I could get some work stuff printed off and taken care of. After her nap, we went out in the backyard to see the rain and Alisa was in heaven! She kept running around and squealing w/ delight. Her happiness & joy for the simple things is contagious. Plus, why does a buddha belly look cute on her but not on me? LOL!

I found this adorable cowgirl dress, hat, & boots in the boxes from Nate & Riannon so we had to try it on a do a little fashion photoshoot. I can't even handle the cuteness.

 Kisses in the mirror

Frank & Mason got to spend the whole day together and had fun shooting.

They also cleared up some trash around the property and had a few burn piles going. He misses being out in the country where there's no such thing as HOA (homeowner association) rules & regulations. Where you can do what you want (like burn trash) and no one cares.
