I got spotlighted at work

Employee Spotlight
Meet Lisa Kemble, Draper’s Office Manager

What has your role been at Prosper previously?
I started my career with Prosper in the Provo Compliance office back in December of 2004. Then I was promoted to be the Fulfillment Supervisor in March 2005.

How long have you worked at Prosper?
I have been with Prosper since December 2004.

What is your current role?
I am now the Draper Office Manager (as of May 2006). I am kind of the liaison between Corporate and the Draper Office for a lot of issues. If anyone has Draper issues that need to be handled, they can come to me.

Where are you from?
I was born in good old Provo, Utah. My dad was in the Army, so I’ve also lived in Colorado, Germany (when the Berlin wall came down), Washington, Central Texas, and just north of Dallas.

Tell us about your family.
I am the oldest of 4 kids, but I now have my own family. I married my husband, Jason Kemble on May 29, 2006. We have an ADORABLE 3 month old baby girl, Autumn Michele Kemble. And then I also have 3 step children, Bubzy (6), Justy (4), and Jewlsey (2). They are so much fun!

What are your hobbies and interests?
I love to take pictures, and when I have the time, I also like to scrapbook. I am addicted to the Food Network (especially “30 Minute Meals”). My latest addiction is blogging. For those of you who don’t know what blogging is, it’s kind of like online journaling. It’s really fun!

What is your favorite book?
“DaVinci Code” and any books by Nicholas Sparks.

What is one of your life ambitions?
To go back to Slovenia (where I served an LDS mission) with my husband and family.

What is something that most people don’t know about you?
I speak Slovene.

What was your first job?
I was a cashier at a craft store.

Who is your hero?
I have a few heroes, but my mom would definitely have to be one of them. I have such a great appreciation for her now that I am a mom myself. She is so good at being a mom, she’s my best friend, she’s raised 4 kids, she put my dad through medical school, and she can’t paint or sew anything.
