Animal Saturday

We had the kids today, so that Michele could spend more time with them before she goes home on Wed. I was super tired, b/c Autumn was up from 4 to 6 am. But I woke back up at 9:00 am b/c they were having the student housing yard sale. So we went out there to see what was available. There was tons of stuff out there, and it was fun to walk around. The finds of the day were a new Snugli for Autumn and some Noah's Ark animals to hang on the wall in the nursery. Michele got some movies and a bunch of jewlery. Good times.

Then we were all hungry, so we went to McDonald's for breakfast. We got there at 10:28, which is good since they stop serving breakfast at 10:30. Then we headed over to ShopKo to get the boys some PJ's that they can keep at our place. We went back to the apartment and Mindi brought the kids over.

Uncle Steven and Grandma Michele took the boys to the zoo from 2:30 to 5:30. Then they came back and we headed over to the End of the Year Bash in the Bowl. As you can see below, it was a lot of fun. They had a petting zoo, and free pony rides.

This is a HORRIBLE picture of us, but we rarely get a pic together, so I'm putting it on here anyways. I look like death warmed over. We stood in line for about 30 minutes to get 2 pieces of pizza. But it was nice to be outside and listen to the people that were brave enough to get up and do karaoke.

They had big bouncy houses and slides for the kids. Justy waited in line so patiently for his turn. And Bubzy waited in line to get his face painted with a Spiderman mask. Justy got there too late to get one, and was NOT a happy camper.

Here's the boys in their new PJ's with Jewlsey. All in all, it was a long and tiring, but super fun day.
