What's your "smellie"?

While getting ready for work today, my mom and I were talking about how our family is a "smellies" family. We like different smells and associate them with different things. For example, my Grandma's house just has this smell. Rufio always asks me what it smells like and I really don't know how to explain it, I just know the smell. I have always been into "smellies". Especially cologne. One of my favorite men smellies is Aqua di Gio by Armani.

My mom's smellie is Happy by Clinique, and I think she's gotten my dad to wear the men's version. My best friend, Tara's smellie in college was Cotton Blossom. Every time I smell that, I think of her. So that got me to thinking what's my husband's smellie? Well, he doesn't really have one. He just wears whatever his brother happens to have at his apartment. Jason's not really one to wear cologne very often (Darn it!). Then I started thinking what my smellie is. (By the way, I spell it smellie so it's not confused with smelly; as in stinky.)

In college, this was MY smellie. I always wore Strawberries and Champage from Victoria's Secret. However, I slowly outgrew that and like the smell, but got tired of it.

My recent favorite is Frozen Daiquiri from Bath and Body Works. I've liked it for a long time, but it was never MY smell that I wore exclusively. I've worn a variety of smellies just so I don't get burnt out on one smellie. And I really like this, but want to find a smellie that is a little more grown up and sophisticated. The only problem is that I'm too cheap to spend a lot of money on the good and expensive smellies that really last. I guess I'll just stick with my Frozen Daiquiri for now.

Smellies actually give me headaches so I don't wear any perfume BUT this whole post I was thinking of "flowers".

Lisa...remember our freshman year when we would casually walk to a corner and...well...yeah. Flowers. Bwuhaha!

My smellie has changed as well. I like to wear Paris Hilton's perfume...even though I think she is how do you say "skanky." I also love the perfume that Michael bought me for Christmas, but since it's kind of expensive I try to conserve every drop of it. Oh, that one is called Vera Wang. (It's "designery" smellie.) My husband, Michael, has a smellie too. He wears Swiss Army, and it is the best scent ever! I've also made him wear Pi, Polo (blue),and Black by Kenneth Cole. Swiss Army is the best scent I've ever smelled on a guy though! MMMMMMM, MMMMM, MMMMMMM!
