Yummy new restaurant

K, so for lunch yesterday I wanted to go out with some of the girls from work. One of them knew about this quaint little Italian restaurant, Aboca's. Chantal (the girl from work) claimed they had the best bread ever, so I went with her & Sheila. She was RIGHT! They brought the bread out in a basket, and it looked pretty average. But then you bite into it, and it was YUM-O! It was perfectly crusty on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. They also had the yummiest garlic dipping sauce.

I ordered a stromboli type thing, and this is what they brought me! If you look at the two pictures, you can see that it's HUGE! We put limes around the outside of it just to measure how big it is. It's about 8 limes in length on the outside.

And about 4 of my fingers on the inside. This thing was MASSIVE. And what's so great is that it was super good and cheap. This huge thing only cost $7. If I was Rachael Ray doing $40 a day or Tasty Travels, this place would definitely have to be on my list of places to go in Dallas. It was a fun lunch with good food, fun atmosphere, and fun people. I love where I'm working now b/c of the people. We just sat and talked and laughed and had a great time. So, if you live in Dallas or are ever in the area, I highly recommend that you check out Aboca's.
