Aunt Jana and Uncle Keith came to visit for a week. Keith went to Japan on his mission, so we met and went to dinner at a Japanese restaurant. They had the most interesting food. I DO NOT eat any type of seafood at all. So when my dad came back with this mini octopus on his plate, I about died. And yes, for those of you wondering, he did in fact eat it! SICK!
No, I didn't get too brave. I tried some vegetable sushi. They had so many different types of sushi there. I've never seen such a variety. Not to mention the crab, shrimp, fish, lobster, etc. I stuck with the gyoza (Goonies for Tara), sweet and sour chicken, etc.
Just another cool shot of the mini octopus. My curiosity got to me and I had to see if they clean out the brains and stuff. There was nothing in that little bulb on top.
Then for dessert they brought us these yummy dishes of ice cream. The top one was plum, the middle one was vanilla, and the bottom one was green tea and red bean. The red bean was different tasting, but SO GOOD! What a fun evening out.
