This morning we got up and were getting ready to have french toast for breakfast when Mom made Dad tell us some good news...the 8 team wrestling tournament at Allen High School (Lexie, Nick, and Nate's alma mater) had named their tournament after Dad, thus we have the Doc Johnson Classic.
He wasn't going to tell us b/c he is such a humble guy (he'll probably get mad at me for posting this), but he really has done so much for the Allen Wrestling Team. He used to go work out with them all the time when Nate wrestled. Now that Nate has graduated, Dad set up a wrestling scholarship that he puts in all the money for, donated a wrestling mat, does all the physicals for the guys, shows up to all the meets that he can, etc. We were so proud of him, so we all threw on some clothes and went over to see the first ever Doc Johnson Classic.
Autumn mostly liked playing on the bleachers, but we were glad we could be there to make a big deal about Dad's honor...GO DAD!!!

Way to go Dr. Johnson. We wouldn't expect anything less. Mike and Melanie Brown
