My baby is ONE!!!

I can NOT even being to comprehend that you, my little Autumn Bottom are one year old today! Where has the time gone? It seems like just last month I was in a hospital waiting for you to come into this world and take your first breath. It's hard to believe that this was us one year ago...

The moment you were born, I thought I could never love you more than I did when you took your first breath and I heard you cry and knew that you were mine. But I have since learned that is not even close to being true. I love you so much more with every passing day. I had no idea I could love another human being this much. All of the little things you do each day that make me laugh, the little faces you make, the way you say "ma ma" when you cry, etc. just make me love you more and more. There is no way for me to even begin to explain or describe how much I love you and how you have changed my life for the better. You make me a better person and without you I would be lost.

To celebrate your birthday, I met Grandma and Grandpa at day care and we had balloons and little Debbie cakes for everyone. You were so happy to see us and were so cute. Then after work Grandma and I took you to Claire's to get your ears pierced. You cried, but were fine 2 minutes later. You did such a good job.

I just hope you know that this past year has been the best of my life because of you. It is the greatest blessing of my life to be your mom and I cherish every moment we have together. I can't wait to see what the next year brings...more loves, more kisses, more memories, and more growing together.
