History in the making

First of all, I have to put a disclaimer as to why I look like crap. I am sick and have a runny nose and runny eyes. Ok, now that that's out of the way, today was a fun day for a special reason. When I had Autumn, Grandma Ruth gave me this pink wool dress she found that used to be mine. And I've had this burr in my butt to get Autumn's picture taken in the same dress. I tore the house apart last weekend looking for the picture of me in the dress, b/c I want it to be recreated but with Autumn. Well, I finally found it and decided today was the day.

We went over to WalMart b/c they had a special going on picutres, and the Portrait Studio was a ZOO! So, we went to see if we could get some white patent leather shoes to match the ones I wore in the original picture. They didn't have any, and it was still crazy, so we went and got some lunch and then went to wait our turn since we didn't have an appointment.

She did pretty well and it's not the exact same pose as my picture from when I was a girl, but it is CUTE. I debated if I should put the original of me on here, but I'm going to wait to reveal it until I have Autumn's professional picture to post with it. We also got some pictures of her in her new Easter dress. All I can say as a teaser of what's to come is...P-R-E-C-I-O-U-S!!!
