I'm a radio celebrity

A few weeks ago I was listening to Kiss FM and they have this thing called the MyPod lunch. You get to pick the songs they play on the radio during lunch. Well, I went online and put in the songs I wanted to hear. Then on Tuesday, I got a phone call saying they had picked my songs to be on the radio! And b/c of that, I won an ipod shuffle and lunch for 10 at El Fenix. The ipod shuffle is super small and compact, which will be great for working out.

It was kind of weird, b/c they only play a few of the songs you pick. A lady called me 30 minutes before the mypod lunch and had me say a few lines like, "This is Lisa from Fairview and these are my song picks only on Kiss FM." Then she spliced the three lines I said together and made it sound like I was having a conversation with the DJ over the radio. It all happened so fast and I sounded like a dork when we were listening to it at work. Oh, well. At least I got an ipod and lunch out of it, and I didn't really even have to do anything. I had to go downtown and pick up the ipod and lunch voucher. Liz (in the pic above) went with me. All in all, it was a fun experience and now I can say I'm a big celebrity b/c I've been on the radio! LOL!
