Well, I thought we were out of the woods as far as bad weather and was hoping the bad weather on Monday was the end of winter in Texas. I was wrong! We had another snow storm today. This is a picture of the onions we have in the garden. I just love this picture b/c of the cute little green sprouts sticking out of the white ground and then that cute little white face to the right.
It was pretty to see the white snow against the green trees. I know what we have to deal with is NOTHING compared to people living in Utah and Idaho, but I'm ready for no more snow. The one good thing is that whatever snow we do get, has melted the next day. I love looking at the snow, I just don't like driving in it. And Texas snow is different than Utah snow, b/c Texas snow ices over the roads and we don't have the sand trucks and plows that Utah has. So driving on Texas roads after it snows is a lot more dangerous I think than driving in Utah. Not to mention that most Texas drivers have NO CLUE how to drive in snowy conditions. So I'll just enjoy these pictures for now and look forward to warmer weather.
