Random Saturday

Dad and mom got home from Utah today. We spent the morning relaxing and talking. Then Dad took each of the kids on the riding lawn mower. With Andrew they mowed the back yard. Andrew fell asleep. Then Dad took Autumn and went and mowed the lot. He said her head kept bobbing b/c she was falling asleep. When they got back, we had him hold both of them for a picture, and this is what we got...they both started crying. We were laughing SO hard that they both just started crying b/c they were so tired.

Autumn went down for a nap and I went over to the outlet mall to get some new clothes. They are putting in a huge mall on our side of the freeway and we always look at these big piles of sand and if we squint at them from far away, we can pretend that they're the Rocky Mountains that we miss so much in Utah. I guess it would help if there weren't these construction things in the way!

I thought this was either funny or cruel depending on how you take it. For those of you skinny people out there who don't know, Lane Bryant is for plus size girls. My cousin calls it Lane Giant. I thought it was funny that right next to the plus size store they have a Petite store. Who planned the layout of these stores? Us big girls don't feel bad enough about being big...so you go and put a petite store next to Lane Bryant? LOL!

I love watching What Not To Wear on TLC. And they always tell the women to get a dark wash jean, nice shoes, and a nice structured jacket. So, that's what I did. Kim inspired me to do that with this cute outfit of hers. You can't really see my shoes well, but they are AWESOME! They are a wedge shoe with padding on the inside, so they are super comfy. They just make me feel sassy, which is fun.
