I don't know what has been wrong with me the past few days, but I have been in such a BLAH mood. There's really nothing that is wrong that I can pinpoint, but I just haven't been feeling like my usual happy and bubbly self. I think part of it is that I've been feeling like a fat heifer cow lately. Anyways, the girls at work wanted to go see Baby Mama tonight at 10:40 (one of the girls didn't get off until 10:00). I took a little nap after Autumn went to bed and then drank a Cherry Coke (that made me happy b/c I forgot how much I LOVE Cherry Coke).
I got up from my little power nap and put on some nice earrings, put on a little shimmery lip gloss, and put on my sexy black shoes. It was just a night out with the girls, but it was just fun to look nice for once instead of my usual hair-in-a-pony-tail, tired out mom look. As I walked up to the theater, there were so many high school kids just hanging out in groups. At that moment I was SO grateful that I'm in this stage of my life and past the whole high school phase of life. YUCK!
I was worried that the movie was going to be really crass and dirty, but it was actually pretty clean and really cute and really funny. I was laughing through the whole thing. It's not one I'll go out and buy the day it comes out on video, but it is definitely one that I would watch again. It was just so nice to get out and have fun with some friends. I think I've been stuck in a rut of just getting up at 5:45 am, going to work, being stressed and busy at work b/c it's summer and that's our busy time, coming home, spending the last bit of energy I have with Autumn and then crashing at 10:30 after the news. Then getting up and doing it all over again the next day. So going out last night was really, really, really nice. I need to have more nights out with the girls!
