Today at work I was leaving to go to lunch and noticed a bug on the sidewalk. I called one of the boys to come outside and tell me what it was. They came out and picked it up and since we work at a pest control company, we asked one of the guys there what it was. He identified it as a wheel bug. I had never even heard of such a thing. To find out more about them, click here. It was pretty interesting to read about.
After I got back from lunch, I thought they had left the bug outside. But no...I found out it was somewhere in the office. I don't get freaked out by bugs and such from far away, but up close and personal, I don't like at all. I found where they had put the bug and tried getting some pictures of it with my camera, but I couldn't get any good ones. I told the boys to put it on a white piece of paper next to a paperclip so I could compare how big it was. They went to do that and it flapped it's wings and almost landed on my foot. I let out a scream and started jumping around like I was being attacked. I started laughing so hard, b/c it's just an automatic reaction. I don't mean to act all girly, but I just do sometimes. Oh, well! That's why I work in the office at a pest control company and not out in the field as a technician. Can you imagine what the customers would think if I was treating their house and started screaming like a girl?

That is a cute story, especially because you wanted to catch it on camera... you are a true blogger! Are you an Alfred Hitchcock fan? Lately I have been on a kick trying to watch all of his films. They are really entertaining!
Um, you might have seen my post where I screamed at the little lizard in my room. I understand!
LOL that is totally funny I would have freaked out to. I hate it when bugs just start flying or jumping and you don't know where they are going to land....ewww
Lisa,
How do you customize your background. I found one I love but I only have the very long URL. Can you email me how you did it? Thanks! Jo
