Today at work we had a few technicians call in saying it was POURING rain up north. So we went outside to look, and sure enough, there were some huge, black, foreboding clouds headed our way. I absolutely LOVE rain and thunderstorms. They are one of my favorite things. So, I got really excited and hyper and talked Sheila into coming out and playing in the rain with me.
We went out, and got a little wet, and then went back in to work. We were all sitting there working when we heard the rain intensify, and Tommy wanted to go out in the rain to play, so I told him I'd go with him. I don't know if you can tell in this picture, but it was a torrential downpour. He's just chilling on the curb.
I joined him and we were splashing in the big huge puddle.
If any of you have seen the movie Rock-A-Doodle, I am doing the "Tying My Shoes" dance. It was so much fun!
We were SOAKED through, and I only had a blanket at work, so I just wrapped up in that and tried not to freeze in the air conditioned building. It was so much fun, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I LOVE to play in the rain, and of course while I was out there I was singing, "I'm singing in the rain, just singing in the rain. What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again..."

Lisa even soaked you are so gorgeous!! How fun!! I like your little jig, too cute! I love playing in the rain too, although I haven't done it in years, cause there's always lightning with the rain where I've lived, and I'm afraid of being a lightning rod. :D

I LOVE doing that. Someimes when i am on the way home and it starts to rain, I slow down.
Plus the next day, my hair is fabulous.
