This is a cake that is so yummy for the summertime, but also so easy and fast to make. All you do is buy angel food cake, cut it horizontally so you have 3 pieces. Then you soften some raspberry (or whatever flavor you want) of sherbet. You put that on the bottom layer, a cake layer, more sherbet, and then the last circle of cake. You freeze that for a while to let the sherbet get hard again. Then you frost it with whip cream on the outside, top, and in the middle of the hole. It is so refreshing and yummy and cheap and easy.
We spent the morning swimming and having fun. Lexie was teaching us how to do water aerobics, and we had a blast. It was a good workout, and we were laughing so hard the whole time.
We usually never watch horse racing, but the Belmont was on TV and there was all this hype about Big Brown winning the Triple Crown, so we decided to watch it. We were talking about how fun it must be for those ladies there to wear big hats. So, we all ran and got different hats that we had sitting around and got our own at home Belmont Hat Party.
Somehow I ended up with all the hats once it was over. Too bad Big Brown didn't win!
