This morning when Autumn & I went to leave, the sky was gorgeous. This picture and the one below it just don't do its beauty any justice. It had sprinkled just a little, so you could still see traces of rain clouds.
I know this picture is blurry, but it's the best I could do. The sun was so red/orange that if I didn't know better, I would have thought I was on a safari in Africa. So breathtaking!!!
Mom and I were given tickets to go see Jersey Boys. I got home from work, changed, and then we took Autumn over to Uncle Curt's. He and Mary and Jessie watched her for me. We headed downtown, and it was a pretty scary ride, and of course I had to be the one driving in the new Cadillac. This STUPID girl decided to walk across the freeway, b/c she was arguing w/ her boyfriend who was on the other side, and I almost hit her! Then this lady behind me later on into our little trip was ridding my butt and there was no where for me to go. She finally got mad and drove around me on the shoulder on a bridge! I wonder why some people are so reckless when they drive!
Anyways, we got there in one piece and I have to say the music was incredible. It's the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and their struggle and rise to fame. The guy that played Frankie Valli was amazing. However, there was a lot of bad language and sexual innuendos. I'm glad the tickets were free and not something we had paid for.
We got home and Dad had gone and gotten Autumn from Uncle Curt's. She had a BLAST over there, and they spoiled her rotten. It was so nice to go out and not worry about her being taken good care of. I'm thankful that my parents have taught me to appreciate theater, the arts, good music, etc.
