Monkeys and the Circus

We started out the day by celebrating the birthday of 2 monkeys...Uncle Robert and Tyler. It was a John Deere themed party, hence the green and yellow bandannas and hats.

Autumn came all ready to get right in and swim. She was good on the way over and slept the whole time.

They had a strawberry shortcake cake for their birthday cake. Complete with John Deere tractor on top. As you can see, Shane was helping to blow out the candles.

Tyler is so funny and thoroughly enjoys having parties at his house, especially when they're for himself. He told us to bring lots of presents, so we went and bought about 5 boxes of candy and just wrapped those up. But, as you can tell, he enjoyed the gifts (and wrapping).

We got Uncle Robert this Tonka truck for the kids to play with at his house and the farm. Brooke was so cute and just climbed right in.

Emily made the most amazing and gourmet sandwiches and wraps. It was so scrumptious!

At 2:30, we headed to the American Airlines Center to go to the Circus. I was worried that Autumn wouldn't have fun and would lose interest fast, but she had a BLAST! She was so excited when they brought out the elephants and the little dogs. It really was a lot of fun and was very enjoyable.

We got 6 tickets for free, so I invited Liz & Liberty from work to go with us. They are SO CUTE together and I am so happy they're together.

We also enjoyed the show! My favorite part was the acrobats.

It was a pretty full day, especially after the late night we had last night. We went home and just crashed and vegged out.
