Carving Pumpkins

Tonight after work, Liz & Liberty (L&L) came over to carve pumpkins. Looks like Liberty is ready to dig in and Liz is a little worried!

Autumn was all excited about carving them, too!

However, I just had to try and get some cute shots of her sitting on the pumpkin before we cut it up. "Autumn, we can't start carving pumpkins until you smile pretty for me."

"CHEESE! Can we carve pumpkins now, Mama?"

Mom even broke out the good candy for us to munch on while we were carving. It's always fun to be around L&L...never a dull moment and we're always laughing.

Liz accidentally cut the whole mouth of her pumpkin out instead of cutting around the teeth, so we had to fix it ghetto style. You might have to click on the picture to see it better, but we used toothpicks to put the teeth back in. This is a geriatric pumpkin who's dentures fell out!

We're almost done carving and are almost ready for the big reveal...

...TA DA!!! Mine was traditional and boring, Liz's was "special" and Liberty's had nostrils and sunglasses.

"OOOOOHHHHH! SCARY!"

After we finished carving them, we watched some TV, and then it was getting late so L&L left. I was doing the dishes when a few minutes later Liz came in and was all upset. Liberty had been hiding around the corner of the house and when she walked past him, he scared her and she dropped her pumpkin so now it's all broken and even more ghetto! Poor Liz!
