Sew Awesome

I am very proud of myself…I just made this skirt. I used to date a guy named Mou, and his mom made me a gorgeous Tongan skirt. I love that skirt and anytime I wear it, I get compliments. It’s a fairly simple wrap skirt, so I figured I could make one like it. A few weeks ago I had Mom help me pick out some fabric (it kind of looks like leather in this picture, but it’s not). Then today when Autumn went down for a nap I had her help me make it. She showed me how to put the darts in the back and I did the rest. It turned out great and I’m really excited about it. YEAH ME and a job well done on my first sewing project in a long long time!
