Today was a WONDERFUL day! I got up at 6:45 when Dad came and got me up. He, Nick, and I went to the Dallas Temple for the 8:00 session. I haven’t been to the temple for a couple of years due to some bad decisions I made. So, this was a very special event for me. It was so nice to sit in the celestial room and know that I was worthy to be there. I sat and enjoyed the peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. It was SO NICE to be back in the temple, and I never want to make bad decisions again that would keep me from being worthy to go there. This experience made me even more thankful for the Atonement. I enjoyed every minute of the session and the celestial room.
Dad noticed these GORGEOUS flowers on our way in, so I had to stop and get a picture of them before we left. I wonder what kind they are? They looked like tiger lilies, but 3 of them grew on this one stem. They were breath taking!
After I got home (THANK YOU, Mom, for watching Autumn so I could go), I got Autumn dressed and her and mom and I headed out to Frisco to meet up with Aimee. She had some more clothes for Autumn and Andrew. That has been such an amazing blessing to get the super nice hand-me-downs from her. I am so thankful for her being wiling to give us her kids’ clothes. After meeting up with her and her family, we headed over to JoAnn’s. I wanted to buy some fabric to make a few skirts. While we were there, Autumn found this big stuffed animal dog. She would NOT let go of it, even for me to check the price tag. She carried that around with her the whole time and was snuggling up to it in the cart. When we went to check out she had a FIT when we tried to give it to the lady to scan the price tag. We had to just rip the tag off and give it to the cashier! Luckily it was on sale for $10!
After that, we headed over to Sam Moon’s. I ran in and got a few plain necklace chains and some hair clips. That’s the fastest and cheapest trip I’ve ever made to Sam Moon’s. Then we headed home. We stopped and grabbed lunch at Subway and then went home. We of course had to look at all the great clothes Aimee gave us. There was this adorable swim suit in there that Autumn wanted to try on even though it was only 57 degrees outside! She looked so cute in it.
There were also some great dresses in there that Autumn can wear now. She’s such a cheese ball and was totally posing for the camera in her new clothes.
It was a great day and I am just so thankful for all the countless and incredible blessings I have in my life. I need to make it a habit to go to the temple at least once a month if not more!

There is something seriously special in the celestial room, I feel it every time. It was a great week for the temple especially with all the protests going on. I am glad we stand for something!

Also, I can't get over how grown-up Autumn is looking these days, especially in the picture where she's holding the dog. Wow, she's getting big!
