Chocolate Advent Calendars

 I have ALWAYS loved those chocolate advent calendars you get at Christmas time.  They just bring a huge smile to my face and make me so happy.  I love waking up each morning knowing I get to look at my advent calendar to find the next number and then I get to open it to find a little chocolate surprise.  I know the chocolate in them is cheap and kind of gross, but I don’t care.  I still eat mine anyways and love every second of it.
 I distinctly remember buying MY own (my Mom used to buy them for us before that) during Christmas 2006.  I was married to Jason and was 8 months pregnant with Autumn and was super excited to get my first advent calendar for myself.  And this year I bought one for myself and also one for Autumn Bottom!  I don’t think she’s quite caught on to the whole idea yet, but I’m so excited to carry on that tradition of chocolate advent calendars with her!
