Everyone came over today around 3:00 for the party. The weather was so nice outside that everyone went out to see the goat and then went and jumped on the trampoline and played on the fort in the backyard.
Then it was time to eat. We had quite the spread of delicious food. There was garlic bread, a veggie tray, crab dip, and better than sex dip.
We also had deviled eggs (those went fast) and a yummy 5 layer green salad.
For the main dishes we had party ham roll ups and creamy homemade chicken noodle soup.
Dessert was individual Boston cream pies. Everything was SO SCRUMPTIOUS!
After we all stuffed ourselves silly, we had a Johnson family tradition…we played bingo. Grandma and Grandpa Johnson always have bingo at the annual Christmas parties at their house. So, we decided to continue that tradition at our Johnson family party.
It was a lot of fun and everyone got a white elephant gift. I think mine ended up being some yummy smelling cranberry lotion.
We had a few people cheating (Uncle Robert) but that’s part of the fun and everyone just had a great time. While we were playing, we had a special visitor stop in!
Santa Claus took time out his busy schedule to stop in and visit all of the little kids (and some big kids as well).
Autumn was so excited and just kept waving at Santa.
Autumn got to sit on his lap and he even had a present for her! We told her to give Santa a kiss after she opened her present and she tried, but his big beard got in the way. It was so cute and I was glad her first experience with Santa was a good one.
Caleb, Shane, Brooke, and Autumn with Santa.
I asked Santa to send me a good man that will love Autumn and I the way we deserve to be loved. It also wouldn’t hurt if he were big, brown, buff, and could support a family! LOL!
Nate asked Santa to send him a new car (fat chance of that).
Santa’s belt was a little too tight and made it look like he had a huge belly and a weird bulge below his belt. We were all laughing so hard. Santa was also more than happy to take home a gallon of his favorite chocolate milk. Thanks, Santa!
Autumn got a pretty pink purse w/ Barbie stuff in it from Aunt Sandy and Uncle Robert. She doesn’t look like it in this picture, but she really was excited about it.
She was even nice enough to share her pretty chap stick w/ Papa and even Uncle Robert.
Caleb, Autumn, and Shane all were sitting on this bench and were so cute playing together. Autumn’s already turning into a little heartbreaker. Caleb was thinking, “Hey, why don’t you put your arm around me instead of Shane?”
So, he took matters into his own hands and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I think this picture is SO CUTE!
Tyler was saying something about how wished they made big pajamas like we used to wear when we were kids. So, I went and got him some! I don’t think he was looking for a pink pair of pajamas, but that’s what he got!
It was such a fun party and I am so glad we get to have so many family members so close. Most of my extended family on both sides live in Utah, and we missed all of them today and wished we could have been with them as well. But, we still had a good time!

Oh my Tyler...
The party looks so fun! You need to post some of those yummy recipes, especially the deviled egg one.
