Fun Little Things

It’s the little things in life that mean so much…like this note from Don that I have taped to my phone so every time I pick up the phone to call someone I see it and it makes me smile.

Then another fun little thing is every Friday Autumn’s day care has little bags of popcorn for them.  She LOVES getting her bag of popcorn and eating it in the car.  Look at how she stuffs it into her mouth.  What a little toot.

Tonight was kind of busy.  Right after I got Autumn at daycare we went over to pick up Nick from work at 6:00.  Then we went over to Chipotle to grab some dinner.  Autumn’s smile in this pic is too adorable (I look like death warmed over).  Anyways, after we ate we ran and dropped Nick off for driving class at 7:00 and then went home.  When we got home Autumn was being a little stinker, so I put her to bed.  But, I had to wake her up at 8:45 to go pick up Nick at 9:00.  When we got home, she was NOT ready to go back to bed…she was the opposite of that.  She was wide awake and ready to play.  I tried to get her to lay down w/ me, but she was a little monkey and kept jumping on the bed and jumping on me.  She was laughing hysterically, so we had to call Mimi & Papa and leave them messages so they could hear how cute she was being.  Luckily I finally got her to go to sleep around midnight.  It’s is one of life’s littlest and simplest pleasures to hear the unrestrained and completely joyful laugh of a little child.
