Congrats, Nick!!!

IMG_8441 Nick has been working to get his driver’s license for a LOOONG TIME!  Well, he finally got it on Thursday, Feb 19th.  Tonight Sis. Wright gave him a chocolate car to celebrate.  He drove himself to church on Sunday and has been driving himself to work this whole week!  We are so proud of him and he’s been doing great w/ driving.  We are having a party for him on Saturday at 6 pm if anyone wants to come celebrate his independence w/ us.  GO NICK!!!

IMG_8443 I’m not all red in the face from tanning, I’m all red in the face from just finishing a rockin’ work out to Sweatin’ To The Oldies.  I LOVE working out to those videos.  I know that a lot of people think they’re cheesy, but I love working out to them b/c I think it’s fun.  The music is awesome and it’s more like dancing than working out to me, so an hour goes by really fast.

I have been taking small steps to start living healthier.  One of those is to get in some more exercise everyday.  The other is to make better food choices.  For example, we had bratwurst for dinner the other night and usually I would eat one and not even think twice about it, but this time I looked at the package before we cooked them and about died!  There were 25 grams of fat and 300 calories in just one bratwurst!!!  There was NO WAY I was going to eat a whole bratwurst after knowing that type of information.  So, instead I had 1/3 of one and cut it down the middle to spread it out and make it seem like more.  I still got the yummy taste and flavor but w/ 1/3 of the calories and fat.  Just little changes like that.  Hopefully I can keep this going to become healthier.  WOOT!  WOOT!

IMG_8438 I went to Target today to get some healthy groceries to keep at the office for lunch, and I found these ADORABLE cards over in the Dollar Spot.  I just love how sassy and cute they are.  I think I like the one on the right the best b/c she has awesome red heels like I do.  Fun stuff!

You look great, Lisa. And I LOOOOOOVE Sweatin' to the Oldies with Richard. I used to do it for a good time with my roommates. We had the one with "Gimme Some Love" on it. Such a great time and I love with they introduce the cast one at a time and they all have their own dance solos.
