Cheap Entertainment

Today I was so mad at myself…I forgot my memory card for the camera in my laptop.  Today I only worked a half day and Liz & I spent the afternoon hanging out, but I couldn’t take any pictures b/c of the memory card mishap.  But, her and Liberty and I went to lunch at Chipotle and the weather was PERFECT, so we sat outside to eat.  Then Liz and I headed up to the Outlet Malls to shop.  She got some cute shirts at Banana Republic and then I got a new pair of jeans at Lane Bryant.  I have gone down a pant size! :)  Then we walked around to some other stores and Liz got some capris at The Gap.  I didn’t really want to go in there b/c I am too big for their clothes…or so I thought.  I was actually pleasantly surprised that they have bigger sizes now so some of the clothes fit me now!  YEAH!  After that we went over to Aldo and Liz got some cute sandals (they don’t have shoes big enough for me).  Then we went over to the food court and got a Cinnabon and a fruit smoothie.  It was a lot of fun to spend the afternoon w/ Liz just relaxing and shopping and having some girl time.

I dropped Liz off at Liberty’s parents house and then went and picked up Autumn.  She was in a good mood when we got home.  I was loading the dishwasher and noticed that Autumn was being quiet, which is usually not a good thing.  I went to look for her and I found her sitting on the floor in the corner just drinking her sippy!  What a silly kid.

Aunt Cassie & Aunt Sandy came yesterday to quilt and they made some cute bug quilts.  They were looking for a box to mail the quilts in and in one of the boxes was some bubble wrap.  Autumn put it down on the ground and had a BLAST running on it and jumping on it.  It kept her entertained and laughing for a good 30 minutes.  I love it that she’s so happy and content with simple pleasures.  I need to be more like that.

She had so much fun playing w/ Aunt Cassie.  Aunt Cassie sat and read books w/ her, played dolls w/ her, took pictures of her, etc.  It was good to see Aunt Cassie again, b/c I haven’t seen her in quite a while.  She’s not really our Aunt, she is Aunt Sandy’s brother’s wife, but we still consider her like our Aunt anyways.  She was so cute w/ Autumn and they were good pals the two days that Aunt Cassie was here before she had to fly back home.
