This is my new favorite song. The music is so fun and upbeat. I have to confess that I had to go and google the lyrics b/c I had no idea what some of the words were! This song just fits my mood for today.
I got the best news this morning...Jason wants to give up his parental rights to Autumn. That means he won't have to pay child support anymore, but that's ok b/c that means if anything were to happen to me then he would have no rights to her. That is an answer to prayers and such good news to get, and I thought it was kind of fitting that I get that news from him today...3 years to the day after we got married! Happy Ex-Anniversary to me! :)
It makes me sad for Autumn's sake that some day I will have to tell her that her father didn't want any rights to her, but I'm never going to say bad things about Jason to Autumn. And if she ever wants to see him when she's older, I will make sure she does. It's what is best for Autumn in the long run. It's very bittersweet. Anyways, everyone keep your fingers crossed that all goes well and that it will happen!

You know, I can relate...and I'm excited for you! So yay you!
No one will be praying harder than I!
Great news! :) So happy for you!!
That is really great news. I would love to hear about how all of this came about! My sister did the same thing with my neice and she never regretted it a day in her life. My niece is 25 now and she never regretted not knowing her dirt bag father. When she finally understood, she was glad my sister made that choice.
She just loved my sister double for saving her the hurt and disappointment.
Congrats Lisa!
Oh! But make sure you collect on all back child support though:)
I too love this song!! Lisa you have such a great attitude, and such a positive outlook on life!! I am glad that things are working out for you!! Autumn sure is a loved little girl!! Love ya!
I am so happy for you. He doesn't deserve to be a part of Autumn's or your life any longer.
Build strict boundaries with him, and cut him off completely. If this truly is what he wants, give it to him, AFTER you collect all the back child support he owes you.
I am very happy for your news, Lisa. It must be such a relief to know. I hope you're enjoying your new house and I'll have to come by to see you some time!
