Fun Day Full Of Surprises

Today at work we got a fun surprise when a chiropractic clinic came in and brought us this delicious cake and then we all got free 5 minute massages.  Oh my gosh, it was heavenly and I felt like I had died and gone to heaven.  My favorite part was when they massage your scalp.  I was so relaxed and felt like jell-o after that.  And the cake was so light and airy and fluffy.

I came home and picked up Autumn & we headed over to Mooyah to meet w/ my visiting teaching group.  There are a bunch of us that prefer to meet in the evening, so we all just visit each other and just go out to eat and have a short little lesson/spiritual thought.  The burgers at Mooyah are really good, but the company was even better.

After we ate, we went over to this little kids area where they have a maze.  Autumn LOVES Kerri and had fun running around in the maze w/ me trying to chase them.

They have this little village type thing set up w/ different houses that are kid sized.  This was the train station one, and I thought it was too cute!  I tried to get Autumn to sit on the bench, but she didn’t want to.  They have this train station, a bank, a gas station, a fire station, etc.  I will for sure have to take Autumn back there when she’s in a better mood and will let me take pictures of her.

She really liked this sign on the wall and kept going over and pointing at it.  I am hoping that she’ll be proud of her Ponca heritage and want to learn as much as she can about the culture and history of the Ponca people.  I call her my Ponca Princess all the time.

Anyways, it was 9:00 and getting late, so we headed home.  I gave her a bath and put her in bed when Mary called.  She said that she and Christine had just gone and seen The Proposal and wanted to go see it again!  They were laughing and having so much fun and said they wanted me to go with them.  So, I called Mom & Dad and they came over to watch Autumn until Nick got home.  Mary & Christine came and got me, and when I got in the car Kerri was in there too!  We laughed b/c we had just seen each other at visiting teaching less than an hour ago.  Anyways, we rushed over to the theater and got tickets.  We got to see a preview for the New Moon movie, and I almost started drooling when they showed Jacob.  He looks GOOD w/ his muscles and brown skin!  I am totally a Jacob fan.

Anyways, the movie was really funny and we were laughing so hard the whole time.  I love being around Mary & Christine b/c it’s always a party.  They are so fun and full of energy.  I am so glad they thought to invite me.  It was nice to get out and just have a girls night.  I just hope I can get up on time for work in the morning!
