This weekend I finally got some pictures hung in the hallway. I got the frames at Target ($20) and the 8x10 pictures printed off at WalMart (cheap).
Here’s a cute collage of Autumn pictures. I’ll rotate the pictures out as she grows.
This is the first thing you see when you walk in the door. I love the little Willow Tree Figurines. Tara gave me my first Willow Tree and it’s an angel holding a pineapple that is the Welcoming Angel. She gave it to me when I got my first apartment. I know that she will be there to welcome me when I die and pass to the other side. I love and miss her SO MUCH! The other figurines are a pregnant one holding her belly that says Cherish. The other is of a mother cradling her baby in her arms. The plate says, “I have learned that being with those I love is enough.”
This big mirror is my new favorite addition to the home. I bought the framed mirror at Big Lots for get this…ONLY $10!!! Talk about a total steal! The words on it are something that Pres. Strong taught us on my mission to Slovenija. I LOVE this saying and hope that I am living my life in accordance w/ this creed.
Obedience is the price.
Faith is the power.
Love is the motive.
The Spirit is the key.
Christ is the reason.
Tonight after I got Autumn at daycare, we went over to the Jarnagin’s b/c they had invited us over to have Family Home Evening. We had fettuccini alfredo, salad, bread, and fruit. It was so TASTY and DELICIOUS! Then we had a cute little FHE that was geared towards Autumn. The lesson was about obedience and Sis. Jarnagin even had cute little visual aids. Then we played Go Fish and Book of Mormon bingo. It was so much fun. Then for dessert we had homemade scones w/ honey butter and sugar/cinnamon topping. Autumn had a good time even though she was acting really shy. They are such an amazing family and made us feel so welcomed and loved. I am thankful for good people like them.
