Sweet Sunday

IMG_0762 This morning was nice and relaxing. I was blogging the pictures from yesterday and I had some video of the fireworks last night. Autumn kept wanting me to play it over and over so she could watch it. She got so excited over watching the fireworks on my laptop.

We got ready and went to church. Nick went w/ us b/c Mom wanted us to come over to eat dinner w/ them. It was nice having another pair of hands there to help me w/ Autumn. It’s little things like realizing I don’t have someone to help me w/ Autumn in sacrament that make me sad to be single Mom. So it was a real treat to have Nick there. Anyways, we didn’t stay for the other 2 hours b/c I didn’t want to send Autumn to nursery where she might cough or throw up on other kids.

IMG_0770 We went over to Mom & Dad’s and we had roast, carrots, potatoes, gravy, and jello. It was so scrumptious. It was fun having Seth there w/ us, too. After we ate, we relaxed and went and fed Gerdy, watched TV, took naps, and just had a restful afternoon. Around 7:30 Autumn finally went to sleep (she didn’t her usual early afternoon nap). Once she sat down and held still for two minutes, she was OUT. I was thinking she was going to sleep the whole night.

IMG_0772 Curt & Mary came over to borrow some stuff to make this special bread that Grandma Ruth told us about. It’s a Utah thing and is SOOO easy and fast to make. It has no oil in it, either. I wanted to learn how to make it, too, so I went over to their house and we watched the instructional video and then we made some bread. It turned out perfectly and made 5 loaves and only took 1 hour from start to finish.

IMG_0776 At about 10:30, Mom called to say that Autumn had woken up and was crying for me. Curt went over and got her for me and then he and Jessie and Autumn sat in his recliner together and watched Hannah Montana! LOL!

IMG_0779 I thought this picture of Autumn & Jessie waiting for the bread to be done so they could have a taste was so cute.

IMG_0780 We liked the first batch of bread so much that we decided to also make some cinnamon rolls. The great thing about this dough is that you can use it to make so many different things from bread to rolls to pizza dough to hot dogs bun. Anyways, these are the cinnamon rolls covered w/ cream cheese frosting and they tasted even better than they look. We finally packed up and headed home at 12:30 am! Then I talked on the phone w/ a good friend until 3:30 am! I am going to have a rough time getting up in 3 hours!
