As soon as I walked into work today, I knew it was going to be an interesting day. We were all in a weird and kind of hyper mood. So, for lunch we decided to order some pizza. We tried the new Domino’s pizza, and I have to say it was good, but I still prefer Papa John’s pizza by a long shot.
When Kristin went to lunch, she came back to work w/ a super yummy treat. It was these chocolate cupcakes topped w/ cookies & cream frosting w/an Oreo cookie on top. They were delicious and DIVINE!
I picked Autumn up at daycare and they had crimped her hair. It looked so cute and she LOVED it and kept swinging her hair around and running her hand over her hair.
I wanted to practice taking pictures, so I had Autumn act like my model. One of our favorite things to do is laugh. She’s such a happy natured little girl (most of the time), and I’m so thankful for that.
She makes me laugh everyday w/ all of the funny little quirks she has and the cute little things she says.
Dad came over after he got off work and took Autumn over to his & Mom’s house so I could have a GNO (Girl’s Night Out). Liz bought this bucket o’ popcorn, which is good b/c every time you go back to the movies it’s only $3 to get a refill. There were all sorts of fun posters and things around the theater for movies coming up. Here’s Heather pretending to pee on a giant fire hydrant. LOL.
Can you find Liz, Heater, and Blanca in this picture? That’s one of the things I love about GNO’s…you can be all wild and crazy.
We went to see Dear John. I had read the book a few years ago and I didn’t like the book very much, so I didn’t have high hopes for the movie. However, I was incredibly surprised. It was an EXCELLENT movie and is pretty much guaranteed to make you cry (even guys will tear up). It is so tender and touching. I will for sure be buying it when it comes out on video. It’s one of those movies that is good to watch on a day when you just need a good cry. I’m not used to staying out so late, but it was totally worth it.
Liz never ceases to crack me up. During one part of the movie, I looked over at her and she had a kleenex tucked up under her eyeglasses to catch her tears. I had to try really hard to contain my laugh, b/c it was a serious part of the movie, but she is just so stinkin’ funny. It was a great night out w/ the girls and we definitely need to do it more often.
