I have been CRAVING some jalapeno & cream cheese taquitos from 7-11 for the past few weeks, but have been trying to eat healthier, so I didn’t give into that craving. However, this morning I caved and stopped and got some. They were worth every single bite and every single calorie and every single gram of fat. Dang, they just hit the spot. I also saw a Cadbury egg and haven’t had one in years, so I bought one. Now I remember why I don’t eat them very much…they are OK, but definitely not worth all the calories.
After work, Autumn & I went and met Mom at McDonald’s so Autumn could play and Mom & I could just sit and visit. After my morning of indulgence, I got a salad. Autumn must have been hungry, b/c she ate all of her food and then wanted some ice cream after that. The sun was setting and when she looked towards the west, I could actually see her pupils for the first time ever. Usually her eyes are so dark I can’t see her pupils. I love how her eyes look like black sparkly diamonds. She’s such a cute little love bug.
We went outside to check the mail and there were some surprise treats sitting on our doorstep! There was a BEAUTIFUL white Easter lily (for me) and a little stuffed animal bunny (for Autumn) and an egg full of candy (for both of us). It was from our awesome home teachers, the Maggarts! We called right away to tell them thank you. They are so thoughtful!
While we were relaxing and watching TV, the doorbell rang. We went to answer it and it was Bishop Jarnagin and a few boys from the ward. They said they just wanted to wish us a Happy Easter and left us w/ some mini Easter cupcakes. It was such a day full of unexpected and fun treats!
