We woke up this morning and Autumn started crying when I told her she had to take a bath. She said, “I no want to go to skoow, Mama.” I laughed and told her she didn’t have to go to school today, but that we were going to church. She was fine w/ that. I was getting my bags (all 3 of them…one for my Primary stuff, one for stuff to keep her entertained and my purse) ready, and I looked over to see her putting on my sunglasses and walking around like she was hot stuff. So, I put mine on too and we got a picture looking like the rock star divas that we are.
When church was over, we went over to Mom & Dad’s to spend some time w/ “Drew” before he had to leave. There were a few moments this week where they didn’t get along and would fight over a toy, but most of the time they were cute cousins and had a great time playing together.
Autumn was sad to see him go and even later on this evening long after he was gone, she kept asking where he was b/c she wanted to play w/ Drew.
I am SO GLAD that they came up to spend Memorial Day & the rest of the week with us. I know they were ready to go home, but they will be greatly missed.
We had leftovers for dinner & then Autumn wanted to watch a movie, so I put on Swan Princess while I blogged and she fell asleep. I let her sleep until 7:30 and then woke her up so she’d go to bed tonight. We laid in Mom & Dad’s bed and watched the season premiere of Drop Dead Diva. I really like Jane’s boyfriend on the show (David Denman in real life) and think he’s cute (but he's married).
Then, I decided it was time to come home and get ready for the week. We cleaned up a little bit and then climbed into my bed in our jammies to watch Army Wives. We also had one of my favorite treats…a York peppermint pattie.
I had to keep telling Autumn that she has to go to school tomorrow so she won’t throw a fit in the morning. She is such a little diva and cracks me up. She jumped out of bed, went in her room, was gone a few minutes and came back wearing her winter Dora jammies that are too short and her sunglasses upside down. How can I not laugh at how adorable she is?
I am so sad that this week is already over. I was so excited to have Ashley & Bianca come visit and it was what I had to look forward to for months and months. But, then it came and went and was over way too fast and I’m sad they’ve already come and gone. However, Autumn & I had a FABULOUS time. It’s just going to be a little sad to go back to our normal lives of work and school.
