Hellish Hemorrhoids & Princess Pajamas

If you don’t like medical type issues or anything that is TMI (too much information), then don’t read this part…just skip to the pictures below.  I probably shouldn’t share this, but it’s my blog so I’m going to.  I did not go to sleep last night until 6:00 am this morning.  It’s all due my hellish hemorrhoids.  I’ve had them ever since I got pregnant w/ Autumn and they only hurt every once in a while.  Well, last night was the worst EVER! 

I tried laying down but that didn’t help.  So then I tried sitting up in a chair but that didn’t help.  I decided to just stay up for a while and watch TV since I couldn’t sleep anyways.  At 1:30 am I still was in extreme pain, so I tried sitting on something cold but that didn’t help.  So then I tried sitting on something hot but that didn’t help.  Hemorrhoid cream didn’t help at all…it made it worse.  At one point I was writhing around on my bed in pain.  I was in more pain than I was after I gave birth to Autumn…yep, it was that painful last night.

I took some Tylenol to help with the pain and I figured I would lay down and at least close my eyes and try to sleep.  Finally at 5:00 am the pain was so excruciating that I got up and took a Vicadin b/c the Tylenol didn’t help at all.  I also sat in a hot bath and that finally helped relieve a little bit of the pain.  I nodded off in the tub for a little bit and then got out and finally went to sleep in my bed at 6:00 am and got an hour and a half of sleep.  Does anyone have any remedies for hemorrhoids, b/c I can’t go through another night like last night.

Anyways, enough about that.  I was sitting at work when Mom came walking in the door!  I was super surprised and she said that she had taken Raelynne south of Dallas to meet up w/ a friend of Raelynne’s that lives in San Antonio.  She wanted to go try that Greek gyro place for lunch, so we went there.  The food was as amazing as usual, but this time there was way too much spicy sauce in the gyros and it burned our mouths.  Next time I’ll have to tell Anton to go easy on the hot sauce.

I left work early to make it to my dentist’s appointment at 3:00.  They put the final caps on my teeth and they look and feel great.  It stinks that it was so expensive, but is one of those things that had to be done.  Since I got done in about 45 minutes, I went and got some groceries at WalMart b/c we are out of milk again.  Then I went and got Autumn and we came home and put our groceries away.

Then we went over to Mom & Dad’s for dinner.  Mom made the most scrumptious steak & everything sandwiches.  Mom called Rufio to see how she is doing and Rufio wanted to talk to Autumn.  It was cute to hear Autumn telling Rufio to get better and ask Rufio is she had any “whip stick.”

Mom got these new jammies for Autumn and she loved them so much she wanted to put them on right away.  They are SOOOO her…princess all the way.

I had a craving for these turtle-like treats, so I bought the stuff for them while I was at WalMart.  It’ just a pretzel w/ a Rolo on top that you throw in a 250 degree oven for 10 minutes and then push a nut (we used pecans) into the middle.  They are so addicting, and even better than how they taste is that they always remind me of Brenner & Jonesy, b/c we made these when I visited them in Utah last year.  I miss those girls SO MUCH!

Mom & Dad left to go over to Monzingo’s to have some dessert and watch the edited version of Shutter Island.  I had rented a movie while I was at WalMart, so I watched that while Autumn played.  It was called Young Victoria and was a pretty good movie.  It was a little slow going, but I enjoyed watching it.

Autumn was playing w/ her toys and I told her it was time to pick up, so she put on these princess garden gloves to clean up.  She is such a funny little bug.  We watched the new episode of Project Runway tonight, and I was sad to see the girl from Utah went home.  I don’t think her dress was that bad, especially when compared w/ that guy’s that had staples in his clothes!!!  How did he get to stay and she got sent home???  I am glad that show is back on especially since there are only 4 episodes of Army Wives left…I have to have something to fill that void (gosh, it’s pathetic that my life revolves around TV).
