Owie!

This morning we got up, got ready, I took Autumn to daycare, and then went to the dentist to have my two root canals done. It wasn’t that bad and I’m not one of those people who is afraid of the dentist. I am so thankful for anesthetics! It’s weird when they drill and you know it should be hurting but gratefully you don’t feel anything. Anyways, it only took an hour and ten minutes. The dentist wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic and some Vicodin (I didn’t fill the prescription for that b/c I wasn’t hurting that bad, but I’m wishing now at 11:00 at night that I had). I stopped at Sonic to get a strawberry limeade so I could take some Motrin and then went into work. It was weird b/c I would smile but the left side of my mouth wouldn’t move. I was glad when the numbness finally went away and I could feel my face.

After work I went and got Autumn Bottom and we went to her swim lessons. I am glad I stayed today instead of leaving to go to Mom & Dad’s for 20 minutes b/c halfway through the lesson she needed to go to the bathroom. She’s doing pretty good w/ lessons (we get to watch through the fence but can’t be in by the pool) and loves Ms. Cis. She has them do fun things like a “monkey walk” around the inside wall of the pool and jump off the side like an airplane. This time I brought a little rag to swat away any mosquitoes from my legs and arms.

After her lesson, we went over to Mom & Dad’s so Autumn could spend time w/ Andrew & Papa. We are so sad b/c Mom left for Utah today to be at Jessica’s funeral, but I’m glad she could go. Lexie did a good job of cooking some frozen enchiladas for dinner and they were ready right as we walked in the door, which was nice. Autumn & Andrew sat on the couch together and watched Ice Age while Lexie & I worked on our blogs. Then I spent the rest of the evening talking to my good friend, Monique, that I used to pal around with a lot when I lived in Utah. I haven’t talked to her in a long time, so it was good to catch up. I hope the Motrin will kick in soon so I can sleep tonight!
