Thankful Tuesday

IMG_2845 Today at work we had a vendor come in to teach us about their product, and they brought a big huge tray of different pastries from Panera Bread.  They were huge and super delicious.  That was a nice treat, and I was really thankful she brought them in for us.

After work I went and got Autumn and we came over to Mom & Dad’s and Mom had made pastry cups w/ chicken a la king.  I got Autumn to eat them (b/c she wasn’t too sure about them at first) by telling her they were just volcanoes that had exploded and then she was all about eating them.

I left Autumn w/ Mom and went over to the stake center at 6:15 to get in line for my temple recommend interview.  I have heard you have to get there early (they start at 7:00) or else you have to wait forever.  I was the first one there, so when 7:00 finally got there I was in and out really fast so I could get back to Autumn as quickly as possible.  It’s a good thing to have done and now I don’t need to worry about it again for another 2 years (as long as I continue to stay worthy).  I am thankful that I can worthily enter the temple and renew covenants there.

Rufio had triple bypass open heart surgery and a valve replacement today.  As of 8:14 tonight she is in ICU and recovering just fine.  So thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers for her.  I am incredibly thankful that she is ok and hopes she can recover quickly.

IMG_2847 When I got home, Dad was flipping Autumn and I love this action shot I got w/ her hair flying all over the place.  She was laughing like crazy and having the time of her life.

IMG_2851Then she was wrestling w/ him and showing him who was boss.  We finally left around 8:30 b/c I had to get her home to give her a bath.  Sometimes she doesn’t want to take a bath, so I get her to take one by telling her we’re really giving her Ariel doll a bath and Ariel needs her help…works like a charm every time.  It was a day full of thanks for little everyday things that mean so much and also big miracles.
