Wedding Reception & Wax

IMG_7872 Today was just a regular work day.  After work/school, Autumn & I went over to Mom & Dad’s to hang out w/ Lexie & Andrew.  Then at 6:30 I asked Autumn if she wanted to go to a wedding reception w/ me but she said she wanted to stay and play w/ Andrew.  I hurried home, got ready, and waited for Liz.  She got to my house and we headed to Mary’s wedding & reception.  We were a little late b/c of some traffic and missed the actual wedding (dang that traffic).  But the reception was really nice.  I loved her simple but fun decorations.

IMG_7873 The food was tasty and luckily it wasn’t sweltering outside b/c it had rained earlier so we went outside to eat b/c it was so crowded inside.  We only got to see Mary for a second but she looked beautiful.  I am so happy for her and Aaron.  There was a cute little table set up w/ different jars of pink candy and little boxes to put the candy in for a lovely parting gift.  We were going to walk up the street to a fair that was going on, but it started to sprinkle again so we got in the car and went to a store called Dots.  I went in there b/c Liz wanted to see what was in there, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had plus sized clothes as well.  The clothes really weren’t my style, but they were cute and cheap…only $16 for some really cute jeans.

As you can see, I had a really hard time just picking out a few favorite scents.  I tried separating them out into seasonal scents but even then had a lot of favorites.  I think my absolute favorite smell is the Poinsetta Pine b/c it reminds me of the luscious blue Volcano candle from Anthropologie that I LOVE.  I have a Scentsy warmer at home and one at the office and am excited to start using them more now that Lexie works part time for a lady that sells Scentsy.

Lexie & I were going to stay up late and have a girl’s night and rent a chick flick, but I get super tired after 10:30 in my old age and by the time we decided to do that it was 11:30 and I was already falling asleep.  So, Autumn & I just spent the night in Nate’s old room.
