Spoiled Saturday Fashion Show

Little Miss Autumn Bottom got the treat of a lifetime today!  Not only did she get to watch cartoons this morning and have yogurt for breakfast, but when Mimi got home from getting her nails done and grocery shopping, she had some surprises for Autumn.  Mom stopped at Kid To Kid while she was out running errands and found some new clothes for Autumn.  First up were these cute Dora pajamas.  Then came this sweet little shirt w/ a sparkly Christmas tree on it.

Next up was this purple shirt w/ sparklies all over the ruffles.  I adore Autumn’s expression in the picture on the left…such joy and happiness and excitement.  She wore this shirt around for the rest of the day (after trying on all the others she got).

This one was my favorite, though!  I thought the dress looked adorable on it’s own, but then when Autumn actually put it on, it became adorable x 100!  We might have to get some professional Christmas pictures taken in this one.

No adorable outfit is complete w/out frilly, girly, ruffled socks.  Autumn had some, but they were way too small so Mom got her some more.  Dad hated them and said the ruffles were too big and looked like clown socks.  He’s just a boy and doesn’t understand that the bigger the ruffle, the girl-ier the girl, right?

The rest of our Saturday was pretty chill and laid back.  We just read books, watched movies, and had fun.  It had rained earlier and was so cool outside that Mom went out there to read her Kindle.  It’s finally starting to feel a little bit like fall.  Too bad we don’t have the gorgeous changing of the leaves to accompany this cooler weather.  I’m glad I got to see that in Slovenija, though.

Mom rented Just Wright, which is the movie about the physical trainer that helps an NBA star recover after injuring his knee.  We watched that and It was a cute movie, and I especially liked it b/c Queen Latifah was in it.  So, we didn’t have a crazy busy Saturday and it was nice to just take it easy and spend time together.
