Sunglasses & Cheddars

Today after work/school, Autumn & I drove past the big mansion to see if it was decorated for Halloween, and sure enough…it was.  They go all out and put huge spiders all over it w/ a graveyard in the front yard, a skull by the door and mummies in the windows.

We went to Mom & Dad’s house and Mom was in the mood for Cheddar’s, so we loaded in the car w/ Mom & Nick & headed to Cheddar’s.  Autumn got these sunglasses as a Sonic toy and I thought it was so funny how she put them on top of her head the way I wear mine…she’s so observant.

Then she wanted to wear them the normal way.  I love her cute little smile.

Our waiter brought us lemons in a little bowl to add to our water if we wanted to and Autumn was jealous that she didn’t get one in her Sprite, so she wanted to try one.  This was the face she made when she tried it!  We were laughing so hard.

Anytime I try to get a picture w/ Autumn lately, she wraps her arms around my neck.  What a kid!  She’s wearing a tank top b/c she had on a different outfit at school today but got ketchup all over it and Mom only had this tank top at her house for Autumn to change into.

While we were waiting for our food to come, Autumn was getting restless.  So, I took off my earrings which are skeletons and let her play w/ them.  She made them dance for a while and then I just HAD to get a picture of this.  She laid them face down on the table and covered them up w/ a napkin like she does at home w/ her baby dolls!

Both Mom & I got Asian Chicken salad b/c it’s so stinkin’ good.  It has the perfect amount of salad dressing on it and it’s so flavorful and good.  And that croissant w/ melted honey butter was out of this world.  We even splurged and got a cookie monster for dessert.  After stuffing ourselves full w/ such good food, we went back to Mom & Dad’s and just vegged out and watched TV.

At 9:00, Autumn said she didn’t want to go home when I told her it was time.  She wanted to go lay down in Nate’s bed, so I said ok and went to lay down w/ her just until she fell asleep.  However, next thing I knew it was 3:00 am and I had to get up and use the restroom.  I hadn’t planned on falling asleep w/ her but was so tired that I did!
