Today after work/school, Autumn & I drove to the $1 jewelry store, b/c I wanted to buy a few more of those dandelion looking rings just in case the first one I bought breaks. And for $1.99, it’s worth it. She was being feisty b/c she was hungry and we were doing something outside of our normal routine. Isn’t it funny how we are all such creatures of habit and don’t like it when our normal schedules get thrown off? Anyways, we stopped at Taco Cabana to get a $3.99 Cabana bowl b/c it’s a ton of food and is so cheap and filled both of us up.
We stopped at Target b/c I needed to get some AAA batteries for the TV remote and also wanted to stop by Best Buy to see if they could fix my Clear internet USB thing b/c it broke the other day. They couldn’t fix it b/c they just sell Clear stuff. Oh, well. While we were there, Mom called and said to come home and they would meet us there. They had gone to dinner w/ Pres. & Sis. Warner, who used to be the Dallas Mission president that Nick served with and they were in town visiting. Anyways, Mom had gone to Target earlier in the day and found some great items on clearance for Little Miss Autumn Bottom. First, was this sweet little cherry swimsuit.
Next was this nice white sweater that Autumn can wear to church with her nice dresses.
But, Autumn’s favorite was this dress that had a twirly black skirt at the bottom. She thought she was pretty hot stuff when she put it on. I do have to admit that she looked adorable in it. It’s kind of girly yet has a punk rock edge to it.
After the mini fashion show, Dad fed her some cake that the Warner’s had brought to share with Mom & Dad. Can you say spoiled rotten???
I didn’t realize it was already 9:00, so I had her put on her jammies and then Mimi read her a story from her new favorite book, which is simplified Bible stories. She wanted Mimi to read her the story about Daniel in the lion’s den. Then it was off to bed. Mom & Dad stayed for a little bit longer to watch the football game but then it was halftime so they went home and I went to bed.
