Monday we really didn’t do anything special or spectacular. Mom made Super Samurai Bulgulgi Meat. We haven’t had it in FOREVER and it was so incredibly good. We used the super thinly sliced meat we got at the Asian Market and it grills up super fast and kind of tastes like soft beef jerky. SO GOOD! I was telling Dad when we were out grilling it that the neighbors were probably jealous that we were grilling something that smells so good.
Today after work/school, we pulled up to Mom & Dad’s and Dad told Autumn to come out to the front yard and close her eyes. He had been out in the yard working and said he had a surprise for her. She closed her eyes and then he counted to three and told her to open them…
…and this is what she saw. We usually don’t put up Christmas lights until the days after Thanksgiving, but Dad said he had to work those days and wanted to get it done now while he had the time and while the weather was still nice and warm.
Autumn was SO EXCITED to see all the Christmas lights and kept running up and down the sidewalk. She wanted me to time her and is such a fast little runner.
It finally got dark, so we came inside and had dinner and then watched Biggest Loser. While we were watching TV, someone knocked on the front door and it was Sis. Jones & Shelly. They had come over to use Mom’s embroidery machine and brought this gorgeous fall time flower bouquet to say thank you. I love the fall colors and assortment of flowers. It was a day full of fun surprises.
